Doggy Hell

The beautiful Boons (Bruno)
Tara the Tart!
One week to go before our next journey!  Priority:  A new dog.  In tragic circumstances, our big boy, Bruno, a huge German Shepherd who found us in 2005, died 3 weeks ago.  Our little Spanish rescue dog, cross German Shepherd, is missing him too.  We have found one possibility and are going through the hoop to see if it can all work out.  On first meeting, our grumpy little Tara, gave him a tough time and it ended up in a huge fight.  But we are persevering Saturday morning.

Ben found raiding the dusbins STARVING!
I am devastated to find out that over 500,000 dogs a year are put down in France alone.  Looking at the GSD rescue site in the UK, I see that the problem is the same everywhere.  Whoever would think of actually BUYING a puppy?  Give a home to a deserving case please.  The real nightmare is trying to choose just one dog.  Look at all the 'Second Chance' doggy organisations all over Europe before you make a decision on a dog.
